I started Get Wrapped because I couldn’t stop thinking about cars — not since I was a kid playing with Hot Wheels, and definitely not since I bought my first car at 16, before I even had a license or knew a thing about what I was doing. That obsession never let up.

I spent years in the trenches of the automotive and mechanical world — basic mechanic shops, heavy equipment hydraulic repair, custom truck and performance shops — learning everything I could, mostly the hard way. Somewhere along the line, after dropping out of college, I started detailing cars on the side. Just a passion project. I had no idea it would turn into a career, let alone a business.

When wrapping was just starting to go mainstream, I got into it — and got hooked all over again. For six years I built my skills, my reputation, and my client base out of my parents’ garage. A lot of my customers go back to the car scene I grew up in — they watched this thing grow from nothing, and they stuck with me the whole way.

In 2020, I quit my job for the last time. Burned the ships, like I like to say. A good friend told me straight up: this has grown past a side hustle, get out of your parents’ garage and get a shop. He was right. For over three years now, Get Wrapped has had a real home in Manalapan, NJ.

I’m mostly self-taught, with a few old-school mentors along the way who were generous enough to share what they knew. I take that seriously — and now I pass it on to the next generation coming up in this trade. Not just to keep the craft alive, because plenty of people are jumping into this industry these days, but to keep it held to the standard, culture, and respect it deserves.

These days, alongside the custom builds I love, I’m just as focused on helping other small businesses in our local community grow — through commercial vehicle wraps, signage, graphics, and lettering. Every wrapped work van and lettered truck is a moving billboard, and every business that grows because of it means more opportunity for the people behind it — their employees, their families. I believe in building each other up. That’s the whole point.
